Shannon Crosby, Editor in Chief - Print
Shannon Crosby is this year’s Editor-in-Chief. Shannon had Mrs. Herring as her English teacher her freshman year and became engulfed in Orono’s newspaper and journalism programs. She is very involved in the newspaper, and she loves opinions and feature articles. At the majority of school events, you can find Shannon taking pictures.
Shannon’s passion would be happiness; she feels very motivated and productive when she is happy. Happiness is very important to her and it’s something she is always working on. Shannon is especially happy when she is around her dog Regan.
Her biggest role model in life is her dad, because he and Shannon are very similar, and he has helped her with all aspects of her life. Her dad is someone she can trust and has always been by her side.
Shannon’s favorite place to think is a specific tree in her backyard. She likes to sit under the tree and look at the lake. Her favorite things to do are cheerleading and jet skiing on Lake Minnetonka. She loves to hang out with her friends and spends a lot of time working.
Home to Shannon is Minnesota in general, but also where her family is and where ever she feels happy.
