Pine cones are physically beautiful, but hold a fundamental role in the ecosystem. They protect pine tree seeds from freezing in the winter, so in the future new pine trees can grow and flourish. Admiring beauty is encapsulating, but its important to remember that its what we do for others that leaves the biggest impact on this earth.
