Allison Stern, Opinions Editor
My name is Allison Stern and I am an Opinions Editor for the Spartan Speaks! I have been in Journalism for the last two years, but this is the first year my stories are going to published in the paper.
I have participated on the Orono Girls Tennis Team in both the fall of my junior and senior year. I would not say I am the most athletic girl at Orono, but I love to play tennis and have met so many amazing people through the sport. I have also played on the Orono Girls Golf team for the past three years.
When you're walking down the halls of Orono High School you are bound to see a Stern! I have three younger sisters, two of which are also in high school. In my spare time I love to hangout with my friends and travel. My favorite trip I have ever taken has been an Alaskan Cruise up the coast of the state. It was one of the most beautiful places I have traveled and it was so special to be able to spend it with my family.
