That confidence extends to Orono students as well, with 72% of respondents to a recent poll conducted by the Spartan Speaks believing that the Seahawks will win the Super Bowl.
On the other hand, the New England Patriots enter the game as the underdogs. Still, rookie quarterback Drake Maye feels confident and ready, despite suffering a minor injury in the AFC Championship game against the Broncos.
“I'm feeling good. I got out there, moving around a good bit today. I was able to do some of the walk-throughs, so I'm feeling good. I'm looking forward to being ready to go. This is the game you dream of playing in, so I'm looking forward to getting out there and getting a chance to play in the Super Bowl.”
Bad Bunny, known for songs like Safaera and Yo Perreo Sola, will perform during the Super Bowl halftime show. His songs are exclusively sung in Spanish, and he was named the top artist on Spotify in 2025.
