Miranda Mosher, Copy Chief
A few days prior to publishing day, senior Miranda Mosher is found putting the final touches on the layout of the paper. With two years of journalism class and fours years of newspaper under her belt, Mosher is a huge asset when it comes to the placement of articles, titles and graphics in The Spartan Speaks.
Although her stress level is high at this point in the publishing process, Mosher’s favorite part of working on the newspaper is placing finished articles.
Mosher isn’t picky when it comes to selecting articles to write about. She prefers to write realistic stories relating to news or health, both being topics she is passionate about.
Along with newspaper, Mosher is involved in NHS, track and soccer. She will continue her soccer career at the University of Minnesota-Crookston playing the position of forward. She hopes to major in pre-med or physical therapy while working her faith into her future career.
Another goal of Mosher is to eventually establish a religious affiliated soccer club with her friend. They plan to work on this after college.
A few favorites of Mosher include her preferred food choices of any type of tacos or taco salad and tater tot hotdish. Her favorite color is light blue, the color of the ocean.
Layout template? Check. Articles placed? Check. Graphics inserted? Check. With passion and dedication Mosher completes her goals whether it be finalizing The Spartan Speaks, or scoring a goal on the soccer field.
