The Spartan Speaks

I’m Francesca, but most people call me Frankie. Or Frank, or Frank the tank, sometimes Frankenstein, etc. etc. My favorite color is purple and I’m obsessed with dogs, and I love long walks on the beach during sunset, of course. I love to travel too. My favorite place I’ve ever been to is Lisbon, Portugal. The culture fascinated me and the people were so nice and welcoming to foreigners; I hope to return one day when I study abroad. I love writing for the Spartan Speaks because I get to report on world issues, state my opinion on a topic, and write about school activities. In journalism, every day is a new adventure and you’ll never know what you’ll end up writing about-and that excites me. I like learning about the importance of ethics and what it means to respect everyone’s opinion. This year is only my second with The Spartan Speaks, but it is also my last-and I’m excited to make it count.
