Mill Valley Kitchen: new look on fresh food

Mill Valley Kitchen: new look on fresh food

Does northern-California inspired organic food sound good? Then there is no better place to find it but the Mill Valley Kitchen in Minneapolis. The restaurant is located right on the outskirts of Minneapolis at 3906 Excelsior Blvd.

All of the food at the Mill Valley Kitchen is fresh and local, making it quite tasty. For every food item on the menu, there are nutritional facts to help you better decide which meal is healthier. There are also many beverage choices including a peanut butter banana smoothie, mango smoothie, blueberry lemonade, berry smoothie and many more.

With valet parking around the back and free parking in a parking garage, the Mill Valley Kitchen has nice service for a great price.

The atmosphere of the dining area is happy, fun, relaxing and the service is great. Between two girls we each had the baby kale salad, and the soup of the day which was chicken wild rice. For dessert we split an order of brownies and cookies so that we could try them both. We ended up being very satisfied with all of our choices. Both desserts were very sweet so I would recommend sharing them.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant, especially to people that want to try a new healthy place that has a really magnificent atmosphere. Because the restaurant makes almost all of their ingredients, such as their salad dressings, I would give the Mill Valley Kitchen a five out of five stars.

    Mill Valley Kitchen is open for lunch Monday – Friday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Their dinner hours are Monday through Thursday 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
