Finals week is on! Here’s everything you need to know.
Schedule
Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a federal holiday, so there will be no school. Tuesday will be a normal school day. On Tuesday, there will be no Spartan Hour.
The schedules for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday are adjusted so that there are only two longer-than-usual periods each day, in addition to Spartan Hour and a normal-length 5th period. The schedule for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday is listed below.
Tips
If you haven’t started studying yet, do so as soon as possible. Finals play an outsized role in your grade, so it’s crucial you do well on them.
Rather than cramming, try spaced practice: study for a shorter amount of time multiple days in advance of your final, rather than studying a lot the night before. Studies show that this helps you understand and remember information better.
Make use of study resources and tools. Teachers almost always have review materials on their Schoology pages that you can use to study. There are also many great free websites you can use, like Khan Academy and study.com, to get ready for your tests.
If you have any questions about your finals, make sure to reach out to your teachers.
You’ve got this!
