During the week of Dec. 12-19, flurries of snow finally swept over Orono covering everything in sight. One things students were not expecting when they showed up to school was to find the parking lot in shambles. As soon as the snow covered the parking lots students started parking as close to where they think they should be, or simply park wherever there was enough room.

As the days went on the roads got better, but the parkings lots remained covered. With students not knowing where to park there had been problems with how many rows there are, how much space allowed to get out and even students parking no where near where their spot should be.

 
The snow will keep falling and the parking lot will most likely remain covered, so please make an attempt to park in your spots or at least keep some distance between you and the cars behind you so everyone can make a safe exit from the parking lots after school.
