Ugly Holiday Sweaters Coming Soon to OHS
With holiday break right around the corner, many students are already looking forward to the crazy day before break when students come dressed in the tackiest, most eye-catching holiday apparel. Though students at OHS represent a multitude of different backgrounds and religions, majority of sweaters will be Christmas themed.
Regardless of your religion or beliefs, there are many options out there for trendy yet atrocious clothing. Senior Ugly Christmas sweater lover Sam Fischer goes to two different Goodwills, as well as a few hipster thrift shops in downtown Minneapolis such as Steeple People to find her sweaters.
“I need at least one for every day of the week leading up to Christmas,” Fischer said.
However, according to “Ho ho horribly ugly Christmas sweaters are not going away” an article in the Star Tribune, there is a shortage of sweaters downtown. Thrift shops, as well as stores who have begun manufacturing ugly holiday sweaters are running low.
Wednesday, Dec. 21 is approaching fast so scour your basement and your grandma’s basement and get the ugliest holiday garb you can find.
