For his debut book, Adi Alsaid wrote Let’s Get Lost. The book was published in Aug. of 2014 by Harlequin Teen. The book has 338 pages and is divided up into five different sections. Each section follows a story of a different person and how they’re lives get changed by the main character, Leila.

Leila is on a roadtrip across the country, headed to Alaska to see the northern lights. Along the way, she meets four different people: Hudson, Bree, Elliot and Sonia. Each person adds to Leila’s road trip and has their life turned around because of her. The novel includes aspects of adventure, friendship and even a little romance. As she snakes her way up the country, Leila and her friends find themselves experiencing incredible times.

Let’s Get Lost is a really cute story and can give you a thirst for your own road trip. It shows the development of characters and relationships. If you don’t read the book over a shorter period of time, it’s easy to get the characters confused because there are so many that have their own story.
