Several of the fashion trends for Spring Break.

From swimsuits and sundresses, to shoes and accessories, these fashion trends will have you looking and feeling good this year on your Spring Break vacation.

Over-packer or under-packer, one cannot forget to bring these trending necessities along on vacation. In terms of clothes, trends from last summer are still continuing to make appearances. High-waisted shorts, crop tops, and shoes such as birkenstocks or converse are still frequently worn by typical high schoolers.

Accessories can easily be forgotten while packing for a vacation. Purchasing the following new trending accessories will make packing these essentials a little less forgetful. Chokers are one of the main accessories that have made a big impression from this winter, and following into spring. In terms of headwear, beanies and plain, solid baseball caps are a couple of ways to complete an outfit.

Chokers are in full force, and are sure to add a little more bling to one’s outfit, according to the Blissed Hub.

“In preparation for Spring Break I just bought a bunch of new swimsuits online from zaful. I usually have to get new swimsuits every year because the chlorine fades mine out,” said Senior Lauren Shaw.

One-piece swimsuits are also making a comeback this year, as their deep v-cut style makes a great look. Velvet, floral prints, ruffle, and mesh lined swimsuits are a good way to go if one is looking for a unique personalized look. If in need for a new swimsuit, nearby stores such as Target, Nordstroms, and Big Island Swim & Surf Company all have a variety to offer for both men and women.

When one is hanging by the pool all day, a swimsuit with crochet details, ruffles, or an avant-garde silhouette offers more of a complete look, according to Sarah Wasilak from PopSugar.

“I try to wear new trends. I just bought a marble swimsuit, and I am buying a bunch of new clothes for spring break. I have already started,” said senior Katherine Kieley.

Another fun, cheap, and easy item to bring on vacation is a disposable camera. These are always fun to use up on special occasions, and even more exciting to bring home and get developed to relive the unforgettable memories. These disposable cameras are definitely becoming more prevalent in the hands of teens.

When thinking about shoes, consider a neutral color if trying to pack light. It is always a good idea to be able to wear a pair of shoes with multiple outfits. Converse, Vans, and Birkenstocks carry several styles that can complete a look while staying comfortable, and fashionable.

Never underestimate the power of espadrille flats. These are perfect for getting around when one is exploring, according to Sarah Wasilak on PopSugar.

During the day, throw on a flowy sundress and tie a flannel or jean jacket around your waist for a light and vogue look. For a night out, lace up shirts, open back or off the shoulder dresses, and fringed flowy shorts can give off a high fashion look when paired with the right shoes and accessories.

Keep these trends in mind while spring break shopping whether that means going to the mall, or simply shopping online. A few websites to consider visiting while making online purchases are, Zaful, ASOS, and Revolve for affordable apparel. Not only do these websites offer a wide variety to chose from, but they also allow for fast and easy returns.
