- Stripes. Stripes on pants or shirts has been a classy look for a long time. “We’ve seen a the trend [of stripes] for two or three seasons now and it will continue to carry forward,” fashion director of Saks Fifth Avenue Roopal Patel said.
- Sneakers. Sneakers are a unique and practical way to stylize your outfit, they are also comfy which is an added bonus! Young adults are especially into the classic Adidas sneakers that were once popular in the early 2000s and have now made a comeback.
- Florals. I know, like Miranda Priestly said sarcastically “Florals for Spring, groundbreaking.” It’s true, florals have almost always been “in” for Spring because of their upbeat vibe that goes well with the changing weather and blossoming trees. Style Caster called this trend at New York Fashion Week a “garden party” because of all the florals on the runway.
- Ruffles. Ruffles on asymmetrical dresses, one-shoulder tops, and voluminous tops provide a classy look. Style Caster states that “clothes with ruffles can be styled effortlessly with a simple pair of jeans.”
- Tied up. Lace up shoes and shirts that wrap around and/or tie are very in for 2017. A lace up shoe can instantly spice up an outfit. Lace up and tied shirts are also stylish and can dress up or dress down an outfit, depending on what you are looking for.
