Former President Trump, 78, was born in Queens, New York in 1946. In 1971, Trump inherited a real estate business from his father, Fred Trump, which he then renamed the Trump Organization. He would serve as President of the Trump Organization from 1971-2017. Under his leadership, the Trump Organization built skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and other buildings. Trump was the host of the TV show The Apprentice from 2004-2015. In 2016, Trump campaigned for the Presidency of the United States as the Republican nominee, beating the Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, the former First Lady and Senator from New York. Trump lost re-election to former Vice President Joe Biden in 2020.
