Poshmark is the new marketplace to buy and sell fashion. This app has over 5,000 brands to choose from and items are up to 70 percent off retail. This app is similar to Ebay, and items can be listed for free. Anyone can sell, trade, style and join virtual posh parties that have a theme of clothing to buy and sell.

Whatever you are shopping for, Posh Mark has it. These clothes are much less than buying clothes at discount retailers, such as Nordstrom Rack. Anyone can find the hottest fashion like new clothes, accessories, shoes and more.

The process is super easy to sell anything you would like from your closet. All you have to do is click “sell”, take four pictures of what you want to sell, and fill out details such as the description, category, size, retail price and listing price.

Anyone can like, comment and negotiate a price on the item that’s being listed. A buyer can either reserve an item they want, make an offer or buy it now. Once an item is bought, the seller is notified and the buyer’s shipping address can either be downloaded right on your phone or can be sent by email.

Three times a day, seven times a week, there is a Posh Mark party that has a specific theme as to what will be selling at a certain time, such as business clothes or formal dance clothes. A notification will pop up and ask for an RSVP to a certain party. If a seller says yes to the RSVP, another notification will pop up saying that it is going to start soon.

If anyone needs an inspiration as to what to wear the next day or to a date, Posh Mark has millions of outfit ideas, and anyone can shop the looks and closets of other Poshers whenever you want.

A great feature on this app is “My Closet Stats” and this gives information about what a seller is listing. It shows the percentage that the they usually discount off the retail price, how much money a seller has made total, and an average amount of days they take to ship items. Then the app categorizes the seller as a fast shipper, or a slow shipper.

Sellers can share their items on multiple social media websites, such as Facebook and Twitter. Sellers can invite friends to download the PoshMark app and use a code that the seller has. Both will earn five dollars credit, and the offer is valid up to ten times. Sellers can invite friends invite friends through text, email, Facebook and Twitter.
