The Grammys started with a performance by AC/DC. They brought the crowd to their feet by doing a medley of their most well known hits.

Ariana Grande, Jessie J, Pharrell Williams and Miranda Lambert’s performances were all spot on. Pharrell later won best pop solo performance for his song “Happy” and Lambert won for best country album.

After that, Adam Levine and Gwen Stefani sang an emotional song called “My Heart Is Open.”

Eric Church, Brandy Clark and Dwight Yoakam then did a country medley.
Their act was followed by a major trio in the music world: Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney, singing their new single “FourFive Seconds.”
Many people were shocked that album of the year went to Beck. Kanye West even jokingly ran up to the stage to grab the award from his hand.
Sia then sang her hit “Chandelier” with Kristen Wiig and Maddie Ziegler, from the hit tv show Dance Moms, dancing.
To close the show Beyonce, John Legend and Common took the stage to sing “Take My Hand, Precious Lord” and “Glory.” It was a powerful ending.
