In Earth’s future, a global crop blight and second Dust Bowl are slowly rendering the planet uninhabitable.
Professor Brand (Michael Caine), a brilliant NASA physicist, is working on plans to save mankind by transporting Earth’s population to a new home via a wormhole. But first, Brand must send former NASA pilot Cooper (Matthew McConaughey) and a team of researchers through the wormhole and across the galaxy to find out which of three planets could be mankind’s new home.
Interstellar is a futuristic setting where the Earth’s resources are finally starting to die out. Each year the framers loose yet another crop, and it won’t be long until all of crops are gone.
This action packed movie will have viewers questioning life and existence on Earth. Physics are challenged, the dimensions are broken. The world as we know it could just be a small dot on the road map to life.
Matthew McConaughey does an amazing job acting out the role of Cooper, an ex NASA pilot who leaves NASA do to an accident that he was involved in. Professor Brand who is played by the Michael Cain, who is known for his role as Alfred in the Batman movies with Christian Bale.
Professor Brand sends Cooper into space to go into the wormhole and save the human race. Anne Hathaway plays Professor Brands daughter and one of Coopers space companions on the mission to save the human race.
Interstellar will keep one guessing and asking, are we really alone?
