The annual Winterfest tradition was continued this week and will be throughout the next. Students are excited for a change in dress-up days and a second chance at class competition.
On Tuesday morning, the senior senators set out before dawn to cordially congratulate the Winter Fest court winners in a not so pleasant way.
“Zach Wagner and I woke up Garrett Savoie and Jen Soshnik by standing at the end of their beds and shouting ‘good morning’ at the top of our lungs,” student body president Chris Lecy said, “and they weren’t too happy about it, to say the least!”
The “wake-up” tradition dates back years to when Doug Erickson first started working at OHS.
The seniors even brought along a few juniors so that the tradition could be continued next year.
As for the upcoming week, OHS has a lot in store for the students.
