The Maze Runner is a movie that is intended for young adults and up. It has a little too much action and swearing for kids of a younger audience. It is rated PG-13 and is a action/adventure, mystery, and sci-fi movie. The movie opened on the Sept. 19. Directed by Wes Bell, The Maze Runner runs of a length of 113 minutes.
The main character, Thomas, played by Dylan O’Brien, Teresas played by Kaya Scodelario, Alby played by Aml Ameen, Minho played by Ki Hong Lee, Chuck played by Blake Cooper, and many more were involved in this action packed film.
I really enjoyed this movie and it was really easy to understand and follow. Even without reading the book, I understood exactly what was going on without having to have any previous knowledge of the book.
The Maze Runner is an action packed movie that has many twists and turns. Thomas suddenly awakes inside of a metal cages. When he reaches the top, his is greeted by a group for teenage boys. With no memory of his past, he struggles to fit in with the other boys. He questions the life that he has been thrown into.
I would personally would personally recommend this movie. I really enjoyed it. Although I didn’t read the book, I easily followed the movie and it will lead into a second movie quite well. If you enjoyed movies like the Hunger Games and Divergent, I believe that this movie will be right up your alley.
