At 11:57 in the morning, it was declared that spring was official. After ‘springing’ the clocks forward on March 9, the evenings now illumined for longer, the feeling of spring is definitely in the air. As the snow melts, even dead grass is a good sign of the warm weather that will hopefully come soon.
After a hard winter last year with snow up until April in Minnesota, having the snow melting already is a welcome sight. With spring sports, prom, graduation and many more fun events, spring is a much anticipated time of the year.
Stay tuned for more upcoming events and news as the staff covers all things important in Orono relating to this exciting time of year.
