Ingredients for this recipe:
1 cup vegetable oil
1 2/3 cup sugar

1 16 oz can pumpkin

2 cups flour sifted

2 tsp baking powder

2 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp salt

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp nutmeg

3 oz cream cheese
-
1/2 cup butter
-
1 tsp vanilla
-
2 cups powdered sugar

1 bag of Brach’s pumpkin candy (Walgreens or Lunds)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a large bowl, combine eggs, sugar, oil and pumpkin.
Beat ingredients until blended well.
In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, baking soda, and nutmeg. Mix ingredients.
Combine dry and wet mixtures.
Beat until fully mixed.
Pour the mixture into a greased pan of about 15” by 10”.
Spread until evenly distributed in pan.
Bake for 25 minutes.
While in the oven, combine frosting ingredients: butter, vanilla, cream cheese.
For a festive twist, use pumpkin spice cream cheese instead of regular.
Periodically add powdered sugar into frosting mixture as you beat it.
Once fully cooled, frost the bars and cut to desired size.
Top off each piece with a Brach’s pumpkin candy.
