1 / 3 cup of semisweet chocolate chips
3 / 4 cup (plus two tablespoons) of Rice Chex cereal
What To Do:
-Line a plate with parchment or wax paper
-Place the chocolate chips in a small bowl and microwave until melted. Make sure to keep and eye on it because chocolate can burn easily!

-Divide into six pieces and place on prepared plate (with wax paper).
-Set plate in the refrigerator until the chocolate is completely hardened.
-Don’t forget to eat…AND enjoy 🙂
Notes: Alternating the cereal is totally an option. Also, you can sprinkle powdered sugar over the top of the pieces before placing them into the refrigerator. However, with out any substitutions this yummy bit totals 95 calories, 1.4 grams of protein and only 2.8 grams of fat. This is a perfect thing to make before a game, homework time or another commitment. The chocolate will will give you a little boost, while the Rice Chex will keep you feeling snack-satisfied. Plus, it couldn’t be any easier to make! This recipe can be found in Sally Sampson’s 100-calorie Snack Cookbook (page 214).
