Spartan Send-Off Week begins next week! Read on to learn more about the week’s events and dress-up days.
Monday, May 19th:
Monday’s dress-up day is ‘Made Me Monday.’ Students should wear clothing from anything that has defined their high school journeys, such as sports or clubs.
Tuesday, May 20th:
Tuesday’s dress-up day is ‘Blast from the Past.’ Students are encouraged to wear clothing from elementary, intermediate, or middle school.
Wednesday, May 21st:
Wednesday has two dress-up days. For seniors, the theme is ‘Future Plans / Senior Celebration,’ while the theme is ‘Groutfit’ for all other grades. Seniors should wear attire displaying what they plan to do after graduating (college, military, etc), and all other students should wear gray.
Thursday, May 22nd:
Thursday’s dress-up day is ‘Spartan Spirit.’ Come to school sporting your Orono gear or wearing red, white, and blue. During Spartan Hour, a ‘Spring Fling’ yearbook signing event will happen outside near the senior rock. During the event, Students can sign yearbooks, eat donuts, listen to music, and play lawn games with their friends.
Friday, May 23rd:
Friday’s dress-up day is ‘Comfy Day.’ Students are invited to wear warm and comfortable clothes to school before Prom later that night.
Juniors and seniors will be dismissed from school after 4th hour to get ready for Prom. The Grand March will take place at 6:00 pm in the OHS gym. The Prom Court will also be announced during the Grand March.
Following the march, the Prom dance will take place from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm at the Metropolitan Ballroom & Clubroom. This year’s Prom theme is A City of Stars.
