The Spartan Speaks can exclusively reveal the dress-up days for the 2025 Prom Week, which is being referred to by the Student Senate as ‘Spartan Send-Off Week.’ Many of these days are senior-focused, as this will be the last spirit week for the Class of 2025 before they graduate. Read on to learn more about each day.
Monday, May 19th:
Monday’s dress-up day is Wear Your Passion Day. Students should wear clothes related to sports, clubs, or anything else that defined their time at OHS.
Tuesday, May 20th:
Tuesday’s dress-up day is Blast from the Past. Students are encouraged to wear their old elementary, intermediate, or middle school styles to school.
Wednesday, May 21st:
Wednesday’s dress-up day is Future Plans / Senior Celebration. This dress-up day pertains only to seniors, who are invited to wear a shirt with their college, military branch, or anything else showing off their post-high school plans.
Thursday, May 22nd:
Thursday’s dress-up day is Spartan Spirit day. Come to school wearing Orono attire or red, white, and blue clothing.
Friday, May 23rd:
Friday’s dress-up day is Comfy Day. This is meant to give students a chance to relax in preparation for Prom that night. The theme for this year’s Prom is A City of Stars, which is based off of a song of the same title from the 2016 film La La Land.
