Hello, I'm Mikayla Burns and this is my fourth year on the Spartan Speaks and this is my first year as editor in chief. In my free time, I like to spend time with my family, friends and my dogs. I am super excited for this year and to be working on the Spartan Speaks again.

Hello Everyone! My name is Lauryn Pietrzak and I have been a part of the Spartan Speaks since my sophomore year. I love turning my articles into broadcasts and video stories. I love writing scripts and producing videos for our newspaper. This next year, I want to try out podcasting as well! Outside of school, you will most likely find me on the volleyball court. I have been on various national club volleyball teams since my freshman year, therefore most of my time is spent practicing or participating in tournaments. After high school, I am playing volleyball at Emerson College and studying film and production!
