Throughout my seventeen years in the same neighborhood, I do not think I have taken an appropriate amount of time to truly observe the beauty and complexity of the environment in which I have grown up. Everyday, I quickly glance at or drive past my surroundings and my mind immediately turns to the stresses of the day. Through the lens of a camera, I have finally recognized all that I look past each day. I intend to encourage those who observe my photos, to simply stand still and let the space around them consume their mind.
