Hi!

My name is Megan and I have been a part of the journalism program at Orono for two years. However, this is my first year on The Spartan Speaks staff and I couldn’t be more excited to be a features editor. I am very passionate about writing and helping to keep people informed on current topics. The role of credible journalism is increasingly more important in today’s news climate and being able to contribute to keeping the public aware and informed is something that is very important to me. When not reviewing feature articles, I am an avid concert go-er, nature lover, record collector, and overall music enthusiast.

I can’t wait for another amazing year filled with journalism!
