Holidazzle is a Must See

You can enjoy skating at any of these times and skates are complimentary thanks to Centerpoint Energy at the Wells Fargo Mpls WinterSkate rink.

There are many events that take place at Holidazzle besides ice skating and viewings of the lights. Times to meet Santa are posted on the Holidazzle website as well as musical performance times. There are even Holidazzle movie nights. According to the Holidazzle website movies will take place on:

Besides all the activities walking around the commotion is fun too. There is Interactive Illuminated Art Wolf and Moose Installations done by Christopher Lutter-Gardella from mostly recycled materials. Even just walking around Loring Park can get you in the Holiday spirit, but check out one of the events and bring your friends.

Nikki Praus, Opinions Editor
Hi! I’m Nikki Praus and I’m a junior working with The Spartan Speaks as an opinions editor. This is my first year working with the newspaper but I’ve really tried to be as  involved with Spartan Speaks as I can. I love taking pictures at games and what not in addition to writing the articles. I think journalism is a great way to become more involved in your school and to grow in your writing. I’ve learned how important it is to be an informed student and I think being involved with journalism has helped me be more aware of the world around me. I love journalism and yearbook classes but I also enjoy all the clubs Orono offers. I’m in Poetry Club, Rubik's Cube Club, Ping Pong Club, and I also play lacrosse. Trying new things is important to me and going on mission trips during the past couple summers holds some of my best memories. When I can’t be that adventurous I also work part time at Ben and Jerry’s scooping ice cream in good ol downtown Wayzata.
