44 North Boutique is a new addition to the expanding community in downtown Wayzata. The boutique provides seasonal clothing including workout pieces, coats, vests, dresses and even a selection of beauty products and phone cases. I was able to speak to co. owners Molly Kleinman and Jody Coughlin (and their store dog Finnegan) about their store and get some advice.

Q: What are your favorite trends for the 2017 fall and 2018 winter season?

A: Camo print anything, clothing and accessories! Ruffled tops and dresses. Can’t forget a pink fur jacket!

Q: What are some beauty products a high schooler should keep in their backpack?

A: Dry shampoo and lip balm!

Q: What was the inspiration for the store?

A: Overall California cool vibe , modern elements but also classic preppy .

Q: What is a staple piece of clothing every high schooler should own?

A: A good pair of jeans!

Q: What made you open the store in Wayzata?

A: To get people offline shopping and into our store with our beauty bar and weekly trunk shows!
