This year, Cyber Monday is on Nov. 28, the first Monday after Thanksgiving. This years Cyber Monday is supposed to be the biggest success yet, while shoppers will spend $3.36 billion online, according to Kimberly Amadeo on the Balance.
The deals last all day, and carry into the week. Most stores even start their deal earlier like, Walmart, Target and Amazon. If you want to stay informed and up to date on specific stores dates and deals, a tip can be to sign up to subscribe to their emails.
Cyber Monday is an easy way to shop for what you want while avoiding the crowds and waiting in long lines. Instead of getting getting up early Black Friday morning and making the trek to the mall, you can pull out your computer or phone Monday morning and get more shopping done in a shorter period of time. However, shopping online means not being able to try on the clothes or get the in person sight of it.
“I save all of my Black Friday shopping for Cyber Monday because I don’t like the stress of going into a store on a busy day like that,” senior Claire Hrusovsky said.
Just like online shopping any other day, stores that allow returns will still hold the same policy on Cyber Monday, meaning you can return items later for your money back if you end up disliking what you purchased. Most retailers even offer free shipment on Cyber Monday to increase sales.
You can find sales from more than 800 online retailers, according to Kimberly Amadeo on the Balance. Whether it’s accessories, shoes, clothes or electronics you desire, there is a good chance you can find what you are looking for with a cheaper price than usual this Monday.
