My name is Colin Geelan and I am one of the online editors for the Spartan Speaks. Taking Journalism I with Ms. Herring last year sparked my interest in the newspaper and writing about current events in our school and around the world, which is why I joined the newspaper. I only wish that I joined sooner! Right now, I am considering minoring in journalism or mass communications and majoring in economics in college. No matter what I choose to do in my future, I think that the experience that I will gain from newspaper will help me tremendously. Outside of school, I am also involved in the Trap Shooting Team.
