Claire Hasselman, Staff Reporter
Claire Hasselman is a senior at Orono High School and will be attending St. Ben’s next year.
Outside of school, Claire works two jobs. She works at Wayzata Country Club and Brightwater Clothing and Gear in Excelsior. She loves to be with friends and attend sporting events. Claire played soccer for three years and her team won state this year. She is also on the golf team.
Claire is obsessed with shopping and always wears the cutest clothes.
At the moment, her favorite book is The Lucky One, her favorite artist is Sam Smith and her favorite food is pepperoni pizza from Punch Pizza.
Claire took Journalism I first semester of her senior year. She enjoyed it so much that she decided to join Journalism II for second semester.
She loves writing because she likes to inform students. Her favorite type of article to write is a sports article.
“I love going to sporting events, so sports stories are easy for me to write about,” Claire said. “I like to share what happened throughout the game.”
In five years, Claire sees herself graduated from college and moving onto a successful career.
Claire’s favorite quote is “Life is better when you’re laughing.”
