Hell’s Kitchen: The cuisine is heavenly

The name definitely doesn’t relate to the cooking, because the cuisine at Hell’s Kitchen is far from hell.

When walking into Hell’s Kitchen, an individual will definitely get the feeling of the picture it is trying to paint. With blood red walls and pictures that make a person look away from staring at them for too long, Hell’s Kitchen definitely draws customers in with it’s dark appeal.

Hell’s Kitchen has a unique menu that includes bison burgers, a homemade soup of the day and many other mouth-watering choices. The menu includes a symbol to tell you if an item is gluten free or vegetarian.

Everything on the menu that my group tried was truly good, from the baked penne to the walleye BLT. The sweet potato fries were something that I was really amazed by, since I’m not really a sweet potato fan, but they were really good. If anything, definitely place an order for sweet potato fries when dining to get a little taste of heaven.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is fun, and there was even a movie playing on a projector screen. Hell’s Kitchen also has a band that performs occasionally, so there is always something to watch or listen to if conversation gets boring.

Hell’s Kitchen is located on 80th S 9th St. in Minneapolis. Customers can make reservations online, on the phone or walk in.

    Monday through Wednesday they’re open from 6:30 a.m.- 10 p.m., Thursday and Friday 6:30 a.m.- 11 p.m., Saturday 7:30 a.m.- 11 p.m., and Sunday 7:30 a.m.- 10 p.m.

The restaurant’s location makes it even cooler, since right above Hell’s Kitchen sits the Angel Food Bakery and Coffee Bar. The contrast of the two makes it more amusing and a seemingly perfect combination.

The service at Hell’s Kitchen is nice, making customers feel welcome.

I would highly recommend this restaurant for the atmosphere, great food and friendly service. Hell’s Kitchen is a fun place to go with the family and there’s no doubt that the food will be great.
