NHL to resume season after coronavirus

On March 12, the NHL announced that they would be postponing the remainder of the season do to Coronavirus concerns.  Many other professional, NCAA, and high school leagues have done the same.  As fans itch to see their favorite sports on television again, many sports leagues have held discussions on how to resume their seasons.

The NHL has announced that they will pursue an expanded 24-team playoff.  This would include a play in round for teams who were on the playoff bubble when the seasons was postponed.  Many details, such as locations, scheduling and rules for players have yet to be announced.
