Many shows will be getting their new seasons later this summer.

With summer approaching fast, the time for awesome TV shows and films to hit Netflix again. With the renewal of seven shows and 20 shows sadly leaving, Netflix is continuing to update and renew their shows in order to keep it ‘fresh’.

To get the sad news out of the way, on May 1, 13 shows will be leaving Netflix. Some of these shows include 12 Years Promise, Apocalypse: World War II, Last, Psychic Investigators and Speed Kills. On May 2, Good Luck Charlie, Kickin’ It, Scrubs, Totally Spies! and Twisted will also all be leaving Netflix.

On the bright side, seven shows will be added/updated on Netflix. On May 5, Sense8 will be getting a second season. A documentary titled, The Mars Generation, will also be added.

May 12 brings the TV series, Anne, is about the famous 13-year old Anne, who lives in many abusive orphanages, ends up in a town that enjoys her bright spirit. You can watch the trailer for this TV series here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5qJXYNNINo

Master of None has been renewed for it’s second season and will premiere on May 15. Loosely based off of Aziz Ansari’s life, this comedy focuses on his struggles for what his wants in life.

On May 19, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, gets its third season of the series. Starring Ellie Kempler, this TV series follows the life of a young woman making her way through New York City and the struggles that she faces everyday.

War Machine, starring Brad Pitt, is a film that follows the story of a general that is commanding NATO in Afghanistan. This film is not yet rated.

Last but not least, the famous Netflix Original TV Series, House of Cards, gets a renewal for its fifth season. House of Cards follows the story of a politician looking for revenge. The fifth season will premiere on May 30.

With many great shows leaving, many great new shows are coming or are coming back. Be sure to watch those shows one last time before they leave and get ready for the new arrivals.
